Hybrid Experiences / Funtico

Launching Funtico in Dubai with Hybrid Experiences
360° Immersive Gaming Activation via Projection Mapping & Interactive Holograms

 

The Challenge:
Hybrid Experiences tasked me with translating Funtico’s digital gaming universe into a physical spectacle for their Dubai launch—a high-stakes event requiring seamless integration of 3D holograms, projection mapping, and interactive art to mirror the platform’s boundary-pushing ethos.

 

My Role:
As 3D artist, animator and editor, I bridged Funtico’s virtual assets with Hybrid’s large-scale immersive tech, ensuring the brand’s iconic characters and dynamic gameplay visuals captivated audiences in real-world grandeur.

Key Contributions:

  • Cross-Platform Asset Optimization: Brought Funtico’s 3D character models into Unreal Engine, refining textures, animations, and physics-driven simulations (Cinema 4D) for projection-ready scalability.

  • Large-Scale Technical Execution: Engineered rigid body physics animations and alembic exports to sync with Hybrid’s projection systems, ensuring fluid motion across 360° environments.

  • Art Direction Synergy: Collaborated on hologram design and stage setups that mirrored Funtico’s “high-octane” brand identity, blending gaming aesthetics with immersive physicality.

 

The Outcome:
The activation became a viral talking point in Dubai’s tech/gaming circles, with Hybrid’s Instagram hailing it as “innovation meets gaming like never before.” Client feedback—“Love it… these are looking great!”—underscored the project’s alignment with Funtico’s mission to redefine player engagement.

Origin Energy & Origin Internet 

As lead 3D artist, I produced adaptable 3D motion graphics for Origin Energy (a Fortune 500 leader) and Origin Internet, translating complex services into engaging multi-platform assets. My work spanned broadcast, web, and print, balancing technical precision (particle systems, fluid simulations) with brand storytelling to simplify concepts like energy sustainability and high-speed connectivity.

Collaborating with Resolution Design and M&C Saatchi teams, I iterated rapidly on evolving briefs, ensuring visuals aligned with Origin’s goals: positioning Energy as an innovator and Internet as a customer-centric disruptor. The unified aesthetic strengthened campaign cohesion across mediums, driving engagement through strategic, audience-tailored design.

Rackit - Bunnings

Live action / 3D
Spearheaded the campaign from brainstorm to delivery, merging live-action green screen filming (including camera operation, directing talent, and hands-on shoot design) with custom 3D animation. Created all assets, seamlessly compositing live-action hand sequences with dynamic 3D environments like the Bunnings checkout interface, praised for its flawless timing and immersive scale.

 

Hybrid Reality
Designed and executed a series of broadcast commercials and magazine spreads that blended physical studio shoots with hyper-stylized 3D worlds. Directed talent in a green screen studio, then integrated footage into original 3D scenes, ensuring proportional harmony between live-action and digital elements.

End-to-End Creative Direction & Production | 3-Year Partnership

 

Tasked with redefining Flexi Storage’s 100+ product portfolio, I spearheaded creative ideation and asset production across:

  • Immersive VR Experience: Engineered a cutting-edge virtual environment (compatible with VR headsets) where users interact with products through customizable music, lighting, and tactile feedback, encapsulated by the tagline “Explore Freely, Engage Deeply.”

  • Multimedia Campaigns: Produced social media videos, web promos, branding films, and instructional videos, blending hyper-realistic 3D renders with live-action storytelling.

  • “Mix & Match” Initiative: Launched a cross-platform campaign merging print ads, commercials, and digital content to showcase product adaptability for retail and industrial audiences.

 

Scope of Work:
Concepted ideas, directed shoots, and produced all assets independently—from 3D animation to live-action compositing—ensuring cohesive branding across all touchpoints.

Light My Bricks & LEGO

Night Mode

Collaborating with Light My Bricks for their Night Mode launch, I delivered a cohesive visual identity across packaging, digital, and instructional assets. My work fused technical precision with storytelling to elevate the product’s innovation and user experience.

By unifying 3D product shots, instructional materials, and social media campaigns under a single aesthetic, the project strengthened Light My Bricks’ partnership with LEGO, positioning Night Mode as both a creative tool and a collector’s showcase. The instructional design approach became a benchmark for future launches, praised for bridging usability and visual storytelling.

For Dampfree’s revolutionary moisture-absorbing pouches and containers, I conceptualized and executed two distinct campaigns to showcase their transformative functionality. The goal: turn scientific innovation into relatable, visually compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

Immersive EdTech Development | JavaScript, C4D, Unreal Engine & Real-Time 3D

  • Live Facial Capture Avatar: Designed a 3D character using Unreal Engine’s MetaHuman framework, synced with live facial motion capture to enable real-time audience interaction. The avatar responds dynamically to user input, mimicking human expressions and vocal cues for immersive role-play scenarios.   

Strategic Impact:
The tools transformed passive learning into dynamic experiences, increasing student engagement by bridging gaming mechanics with pedagogy. The avatar system, in particular, became a prototype for future AI-driven tutoring applications.

ntegrated Print & 3D Animation | Product Awareness Strategy

Partnered with Visy to launch Tread, a durable floor protection product, through a multi-phase campaign that blended high-impact print design with technical 3D animation.

  • Action-Driven Print Campaign: Developed bold, visually dynamic print assets showcasing Tread’s durability under extreme conditions (e.g., heavy machinery, spills). Collaborated with Visy’s marketing team to refine messaging over two iterative rounds, ensuring alignment with industrial and retail audiences.             

  • 3D Animated Explainer Video: Translated technical specs into an engaging narrative using fluid simulations and kinetic motion graphics. Highlighted Tread’s functionality through layered visual storytelling—balancing close-up product details with real-world application scenarios.

The print campaign established immediate visual recognition, while the explainer video reduced customer education time by demystifying complex features. Together, they positioned Tread as a premium, problem-solving solution, driving a 25% increase in inbound inquiries post-launch (client-reported).

As Zenexus’s lead creative contributor, I delivered integrated campaigns for their flagship clients—Homebase UK (home improvement retail), Living Elements (modern interiors), and Tuck Living (luxury timber furniture)—spanning web, print, social media, and TV.

  • Produced photorealistic 3D assets, animations, and layouts for cross-platform campaigns, including TV commercials, social videos, and print catalogs.

  • Owned end-to-end workflows: concepting, modeling, UV mapping, texturing, lighting, and rendering.

  • Collaborated with Zenexus’s marketing team to align creative outputs with each brand’s unique audience and positioning.
